April showers mean it's time to stock
up on rain gear! Sailing is no fun in soggy clothes, and we
have just the fix. Sturgis Boat Works has recently gotten
our spring order of spray gear in, and we think you'll like the
selection.
Just a reminder, it is never too
early to book your SBW charters! Our charter boats are in
hot demand and they are often sold out way before an event.
We encourage our customers to book early in order to ensure a

Boat Works is pleased to announce our in-the-water open
house! Thinking about getting a Hunter or Hobie
Cat? Want to try out one of the exciting Hobie
Mirage Drive Kayaks? Join us down at Englewood Beach
in West Yarmouth, Saturday May 12! Our staff, as
well as dealer reps will be on hand to answer your
questions. The Hobie Cat Sailboats and Kayaks and
select Vanguard Recreational Sailboats will be in the
water. Our Hunter collection will be on trailer
displays.
Our Open House will be
taking place at the Town of Yarmouth Sailing Center
located on Englewood Beach in West Yarmouth. Please

2007. The new Women's One Design Smock
is now available in pink or black! Two
new products
that have been added to the dinghy line are the
Thermal Dinghy Top and the Dinghy Speedskin.
The Thermal Dinghy Top is designed with Spring
conditions in mind, and offers a warm solution for
cold weather sailing. The Dinghy Speedskin is
a breathable, water and wind resistant, fleece lined
layering piece. We at SBW feel these products will
be a welcome addition to any dinghy sailor's gear
bag.

Sturgis Boat
Works has a handful of limited edition white chartered lasers
available. These are 2007 Lasers, with never been
used sail and blades. They were part of our charter
program this Winter, and will be ready for delivery after
Laser North American's.

Boat Works is currently looking for a full time, summer
staff member to join our West Yarmouth location. SBW is a
dynamic and growing business focused on youth and
performance sailing, and most recently, recreational
sailing. Primary job responsibilities include parts and
gear, boat rigging, and regatta support. Summers will be
very busy with scheduled events but we can try and accommodate
sailing schedules with notice The ideal
candidate will have college sailing experience, excellent
communication skills, and good knowledge of Optimist,
420s, and Lasers. Knowledge of Hobie Cat products a plus!
Housing or relocation to Cape Cod is strongly suggested.
